Peptide Research: Impact of BPC-157 and TB-500 on Tendons

This blend combines BPC-157, a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from body protection compound, with TB-500, a synthetic fragment corresponding to thymosin beta-4 — two peptides independently studied in animal models of musculoskeletal tissue-repair research and frequently examined together in combination studies.

A rat study of standardized Achilles tendon transection and repair randomized animals into control, BPC-157, TB-500, and combined BPC-157 + TB-500 treatment groups over four weeks of intraperitoneal dosing. Biomechanical, histopathological, and immunohistochemical analyses found that both peptides were associated with improved tendon architecture and extracellular matrix organization, with TB-500 showing a significant advantage in maximum load to failure; the combined treatment did not show additional benefit over either peptide alone in this model (PubMed).
